It's been awhile. Tomorrow is the day I turn 16 years old for the first and last time in my entire life and it's quite exciting. I'm currently living my last day as a 15 year old and there's something strange about knowing this is the last time I will ever be 15. Time flies. It's times like this that make me feel extremely happy and blessed to be alive and surrounded by the inspiring and wonderful people in my life.
I thought in this post I would reflect on some of my highlights of being 15, I mean I may aswell. Maybe I'll look back on this when I'm 35 and think hey, this is really cool I'm happy I did this.
1. Going to London with my bestfriend - now this had to be at the top of my list. I mean it's pretty self explanatory. I basically lived my dream and it was probably the best experience of my entire existence to date. Great times.
2. Concerts - I went to some great concerts this past year including Rihanna, One Direction and Eminem to name a few. The vibe I get from concerts is just unexplainable, it's just my happy place.
3. Finding my style - I feel like I really found my sense of style this year. I know the type of clothes I love and the type that look good and suit me. I feel like this is a really important part of life especially since I'm a girl and all, so I'm very proud of this. It's like I'm discovering the parts of who I am.
4. Gained some great friends - I also met some great new friends along the way this year. Friends become a part of who you are, so when you find the ones that suit you, you keep them. "I chose you, you are mine."
5. Christmas - I feel like my Christmas when I was 15 was one of the greatest if not the best. I love family gatherings, everyone's so positive & happy it's so enlightening. I always try to surround myself with happy positive people so this is a great example.
6. Discovered great TV shows - Now this is a great example of the lazy in me. There's nothing I think I love more then getting into sweatpants, jumping into a warm bed and switching on my laptop. Perfection. When you add in American Horror Story, New Girl and Sex and The City, you've got yourself heaven.
