Final Countdown!

Hello lovely readers,

Can I just take a moment to thank you if you're reading this because it seriously means the world to me. I hope good karma goes in your direction!

So as you can probably see (hopefully) this blog post is titled "Final Countdown" and that is because it is now officially 2 days until I go to London with my bestfriend to go and stay with her family! Now I know what you're probably thinking you can't believe it right, I'm so lucky? And your right actually because I can't believe it either and my emotions are a mixture of extreme excitement and confusion if this is really happening to me? Courtney, me, 15 year old from Auckland New Zealand who absolutely hates this country? (Sorry but it's true)

I feel honestly so lucky to have the opportunity and I'm so grateful to so many people on such a huge level! This is definitely the most exciting thing to ever happen to me! We are literally going to have the time of our lives and I can't wait to come back home and tell you all about it and give you pictures etc! I will also try to vlog my time whilst I'm there! We have so much planned in the way of tourist attractions and shopping etc! There will never ever be a moment where we stop to catch our breath!

Also I would like to take a moment to think about the lives lost and effected in the Boston Marathon bombing which occurred yesterday, it was such a horrible and scaring disaster and just so heartbreaking. My love and wishes go out to everyone effected. R.I.P.

On a happier note I hope you have all been having a fabulous time being alive because life is just so glorious and we need to realise that we do take it for granted, don't even for a second think to yourself that you don't because you are most likely lying to yourself and to me (yes I know your reading this!)

Crazy little thing called "love"

Hello world,

Lately I've been thinking about love and what it really means. I don't think love just means two people who are captivated by one another and enjoy spending time together, it's alot deeper than that and can be found in many things not just humans. I know this because when I'm laying in bed and I have my cat beside me and she's purring and she looks at me with that cute look, it makes me think about all the memories I have of her and when I was younger and she was a kitten, and that make me realise that I love her.

So love can be found it many ways in life, you just need to find it.

"Even though I saw it coming it still hurts" now I think this can describe how I'm feeling right now. Even though I knew this was coming and I wanted it to happen to be honest, when it actually has happened and it hits you it doesn't feel as good as you had imagined and honestly it does hurt a little. "We're over" but who said there was a we? Maybe we had a few laughs and we got along well and maybe we kissed that one time but it doesn't mean that we are labelled, not in my opinion. So don't define us as we and don't define me as yours because we never were and I never was.

Now your just somebody that used to know...

London Ahead!

Hello to the lovely people who actually take the time and effort to read my posts or attempt atleast you deserve a god damn medal or something,

As usual, I hope you are doing well!
If you ask me I would say I am doing fabulous apart from the fact that I am still getting over a bad cold and it has resulted in a rather chesty cough (cries) but no I shall live!

Guys can I just say that it is now nine day's until I go to London with my bestfriend and her older sister to see their dad and family! I can't believe it! Next Saturday!!! It's actually come alot quicker than I thought it would and I couldn't be happier! We have literally been counting down the days for months and it feels fabulous! I cannot describe in words how much this means to me and how excited I truly am, don't even get me started on how grateful I am.

Not only am I experiencing travelling with my bestfriend for the first time but also it's the first time I will be travelling and away from my parents for two weeks and it feels incredible. The feeling of independence is something that I have craved my whole life I believe and right now I feel it. It's as though they are letting me spread my wings and live my life to the fullest, I cannot thank them enough for this experience.

I am so grateful and so excited to see what London has to offer and trust me we've done our research! Shopping and tourist attractions galore it's fabulous!!! This just comes to show that travelling is definitely one of my biggest passions in life and always has and will be.
