2012!

As we are now all fully aware of now 2012 is coming to a very quick end!
We are just less than 2 weeks away from Christmas! THIS IS CRAZY!
So much has happened for me this year, I must say it's been a pretty great year!

I won't recap on everything because that could take me hours! But i can just think in my head about that...
I hope you've all had a fabulous year! And if not, lets make 2013 AMAZING!!
Hope you all have big family get together's planned for these festive holidays, I have no doubt you probably do!
I think Christmas time is so lovely and cheerful and everyone just manages to put on a smile even if they don't have anything to be excited about, they will just smile anyone. It's lovely.
The whole town gets decorated and all the shops and all the christmas trees and lights! It's so gorgeous!
Best holiday of the year if you ask me! What do you think?

I'm hoping to have great family Christmas this year! And hopefully a very fab New Years! Hoping to do something great with my friends and party all night long! Hopefully i'll be able to remember it afterwards....

No but seriously, i hope you do have a crazy new years! Hahaha! May aswell start off the year with a bang right?! Right!

So thats just a little bit of what i felt like saying, I will write again soon!

Make the most of everyday, because as well all have heard about that horrible disaster which has occured in the States the past week, the shooting that took the lives of many. it just goes to show you that you never know when your day will come, so we really cannot afford to take anyday for granted!

LIFE!

Hey guys!
I haven't posted in so long i feel quite quilty to be honest!
But now i'm back!
School is officially over for the year and next year i will have moved up yet again another year level!
yay but nay :( (:
I hope everyone has been fabulous! I cannot believe it's almost christmas! This year has absolutely flown by so quickly it feels like a couple of months ago it was christmas and now here we are yet again!

My life at the moment has been pretty boring! I finished my exams and then we have 2 more weeks left of school that were completely pointless and a complete utter waste of time so i took a few days off! I finished 2 days ago now and i can tell you it is absolute heavenly bliss! I'm so excited for christmas! My mum bought me clothes and i'm getting an ipod and some mac makeup and just amazing stuff! IM SO EXCITED!!
Christmas is deffinitly the best time of the year and everyone is just so happy and excited its fab! :D

I will post again soon! Sorry this has been so boring but i will makeup for it soon i promise! <3

Stressed

Catchup

Hey everyone,
So i know i haven't done a post in ages! I feel so bad! but im back bitches.
So a couple of weeks ago i went to San Francisco and New York! I had the most fabulous time! It was just me and my Dad! It was absolutely amazing I was just soo blown away with it all! Nothing ever stops over there, everythings just go go go! I LOVE IT. I love being in big crowds of people! I am just such a city person! I bought heaps of clothes too and i got the most perfect shoes! Their like a cross between Gaga and i guess you could say Demi Lovato! Their AMAZING. It was love at first site! What im soo annoyed about is, i bought this makeup over there, foundation, from a shop called Sephora. It is absolutely AMAZING. Like im obsessed with it ok! I thought that i would be able to buy some more when i ran out of it, like when i got home on the internet right? well i've been looking online on the website and everything like everywhere, they don't have it! I AM SO ANNOYED!
Oh well though, life goes on!

Life is pretty caiotic at the moment, i have my exams coming up next week, One Direction's new single come out tonight "Little Things" which i am beyond ecstatic about like I CANNOT WAIT!, also trying to plan so much stuff in such a short period of time is so hard!
Guys, i cannot believe how fast this year has gone...I mean seriously da fuq we're in October and going into November! Christmas is literally just around the corner! I feel so old!!

Another thing i forgot to say is that i met Cher Lloyd and Ryan and Nash from Hot Chelle Rae whilst they were here in New Zealand if your familiar with them! I was so happy i got to meet them! I got pictures with the guys from HCR but Cher didn't have time to take individual fan photos so she got her manager to take a photo with her and all the fans (including me!) and she posted it on her twitter! Yes thats right, i'm on Cher Lloyd's twitter page!!!

So thats all i have to say for now guys, but i'll be back soon i promise!

Monday Night!

Hey beautiful people,
So i was just on tumblr this evening and i came accross this quote:

So it just really made me think, and it's deffinitely something i totally agree with. I just feel like it's such an important topic and these days, people my age (around 15) are starting to do it, and it just makes me feel kind of sad. I mean it's their decision and all but, we're still pretty much children and what is our childhood if it's spent doing things like this, that don't have much meaning at this age. We don't know what true love is at this age, it's pretty much as simple as that. I mean you might think you are totally completely head over heels for this guy and you probably think he feels the same way and i mean thats lovely, amazing, but it's not love, not really. Not until you can be in an adult relationship, thats when you can start really to call it love. Well thats just what i think anyway.

I had an amazing time at fashion week in the weekend and it was absolutely amazing! I will do another post about that sometime this week. I have to work on my speech for English! I'm doing it on internet and i HATE speeches so fingers crossed all goes well!

Soooo excited tacos for dinner tonight! HAHAHHHAHAHA don't judge me.

Fashion Week!

Hey lovelies <3
WHOOP WHOOP! So this week (finally) is fashion week! So this weekend me and my friends are going to the city to go check it all out and watch a show! I cannot even wait! Fashion really means alot to me and it's one of my biggest passions I guess. I bought a really lovely dress last weekend that i'm going to wear to it and i'm also taking it to NYC with me (which is in 25 days btw ahhhhhh!) so i'm pretty ecstatic as you can imagine!

I feel so tired lately, i just feel like school, homework and lack of sleep from all of this can make you feel so drained and tired all the time! This is how i feel sooo often and it's horrible! grrrr!

So One Direction have arrived in LA! And they will be preforming at the VMA's (Video Music Awards) which are live here in NZ on Friday at 11AM on channel 14(MTV) WOOHOO! Lucky for me, thats a teachers only day! Me and a big group of my friends are going to watch it on this big projector so they'll look even more perfect (if thats even possible?!) and closer to us! SIGGGGGGH! :')

So thats all i have to say for now and i will update you after fashion week about how everything went etc etc! I will post a picture of my dress below for you all to see!

Late Night Inspiration

Hey everyone,
So I know it's late here in NZ (12.29AM) to be exact, but hey i just got the craving to write a blog post so imma do it.
I just watched the movie "LOL" with Miley Cyrus in it! Must say, I really loved it! I feel like it can relate to alot of teenagers in this era and I feel like it deffinetly is really realistic unlike most movies in the industry today. I deffinitely recommend watching it! You can even watch it on Youtube, thats how i did it!

I find it soo cute how the mother and the daughter are so close. Thats kind of like me and my mum in a way, we just get on so well and i feel like i can tell her all my secrets and problems and she will just listen and it just makes me feel so much better when i can just talk to someone about my problems and just get it off my chest i guess. Also i must say, they actor in the movie who plays Kyle is sooo super sexy, i fell for him so hard the first second he came onto my screen! SEX GOD.

Well tomorrow i have to get this injection, which i'm quite scared about but my mum will be there to hold my hand so it should be fine. It's protecting me and it's free, so what've i go to loose right? Maybe my arm for a day or two to recover from the pain.... but hopefully thats all.

I ALMOST FORGOT. Today is the 29th of August 2012 and today is the day 19 years ago, Liam James Payne from the band One Direction was brought into this beautiful world. He is one of my huuuuge inspirations Liam, his dream for his whole life pretty much was to be where he is today and look at him! I mean i'm just so proud of that boy. All his dreams have come true! I'd honestly love to know what he wished for when he blew out his candles because i'm pretty sure he's the luckiest and most grateful celebrity there is! In my opinion anyway. So happy birthday Liam, i love you with all my little heart boy. Me and my friends are having a little celebration for it at school tomorrow actually, cake and everything! whoop whoop!

Hello Beautiful People!
So for this post I'm going to talk about my addictions/obsessions.
So of course, number one would be One Direction because their my absolute life as you probably know if you've read my other posts. Words can literally not even begin to describe how much they mean to me, not many people really understand this but if you are like me, a "directioner" then you will definitely understand.
Something else I am just totally obsessed with is Shoes, i just cannot get enough of them. Heels, wedges, converse, vans, you name it I'll probably love them. Apart from those weird sandal style shoes I don't really like them that much. But yeah. Lately one of my BIGGEST obsessions would have to be handbags! I just bought this really cute cluth bag style bag but it has a strap, i got it in the weekend and i love it so much! I might actually take it to fashion week with me! It's just soo cute and it only cost me $10 from Cotton On so thats deffinitly a bonus!

This weekend I need to go to this really cute shop near my local area it's called Millie Boutique, they have some of the most AMAZING dresses! I need to buy a dress that i can wear to fashion week and also for me to take to NYC when i go! (WHICH I CANNOT EVEN WAIT FOR!) so my lovely mother is taking me shopping! My Dreams.

My dreams. Well where do i start. Okay lets start here. New York City. Ever since i was just a little girl, i have always just had a longing for NYC. I feel like i'm just meant to be there, like thats where i truly belong. I myself, don't even know why to be honest. I just love absolutely everything about it. And i haven't even been there yet! I'm going there for my first time in about 7 weeks! I'm also going to San Francisco and i cannot even wait! It's going to be absolutely UNREAL. My next dream is to be a Journalist or something that combines fashion, blogging, photography and travel altogether, please let me know if you come up with anything.. But i just love blogging! It's just so great! Even though hardly anyone will read this, i just like expressing myself ya know. It feels good to just write everything out. Another dream, to marry someone British. Maybe its just my super extremely high expectations of guys now thanks to One Direction, or maybe its just because i'm half British? Well, i have no idea but i've fixated myself into the idea that i will marry someone British, or Irish for that matter (Niall Horan). To be honest, i think i was meant to be born somewhere in the middle of being American and British, deffinitly not New Zealand.. I feel like this country is just not big enough for me. I am one of those girls, who just needs to be in a big city. I need to be in the rush of the traffic, with the sound of people and the smell of freshly brewed Starbucks wearing big coats and classy high heels. Thats just my idea of perfect to be honest. Why hello there.
My name is Courtney Brooke Shorter. I am 14 years old. I live in a very small country hardly ever mentioned in this world, named New Zealand, in the lovely city of Auckland. I go to an all girls school, which sometimes totally sucks but also has its good sides.
